On the 13th November 2018 the 3rd and 4th class of the 3rd primary school of Vrontados had an excursion to the Center for Environmental Education Chios (Κπε Χιου – Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης).
Excursions
Last Saturday, we had the chance to explore our island a little further. Our first stop was the abandoned village Anavatos.
Last Saturday, the volunteers of Vrontados had the chance to visit the biggest village in the north-west part of the island: Volissos. But it was not only the village, the whole way to go there was a big adventure.
At the 7th of June the kindergarten and the primary school went to excursion together and of course we volunteers participated in the trip into the south of Chios.
Even trough the children in the kindergarten do not walk alone to school, they should know some basic traffic regulations.
The first of May is an international bank holiday, and we volunteers had the chance to spend the whole day in the south-west of Chios Island. Together with our mentors we visited different villages and heard more about the history of Chios.
