It’s carnival time and so we decided to create masks with the pupils of primary school.
We prepared different, but the favorite of the children were the smurf masks. So we did it many times.
Before we had to prepare the models for the hat (καπέλο), the face (πρόσωπο) and the glasses (γυαλιά). We also created an example before to inspire the children how to create the mask.
At the class we gave them the white and the blue paper, the models and explained them how to do it. They had a lot of fun and some pupils were very creative, especially some boys. They had great ideas how to design it. We only helped them to cut the eyes or show them how to draw the face.
When they were finished, we fixed the ribbon with the stapler and they were very happy to wear this funny masks.
It was a nice experience to create this masks with the children and to see how creative they are. We had a lot of fun and they were very pleased, so we had also a lot of fun. Now we are looking forward to the carnival time in Greece and we are very expectant.
