Today we had a special guest in 2nd primary school of Vrontados. A police officer from the Traffic Police Station of Chios came to speak for two hours to the children about the main ways of transportation, street signs and security information.
The awareness of the significance of this topic is not very high. For that reason it is necessary to educate children in school about it and to inform about the risks and the rules on the street.
For the reason, that the streets in Greece, especially on the Islands, are not safe, because most of the people follow their own rules, which causes a lot of danger, incidents and even death of many people, it was highly educative for the children, but they also enjoyed, had some good laughs and fun.
