In the new school year in Vrontados primary school we had opportunity to help kids and show them experiments during the physics lessons.
At all levels of science education as one of the basic form of students development are of course laboratory experiments. Performed by TES volunteers largely illustrate processes around us and demonstrate the basic interrelations in the environment.
The most valuable teaching methods are those in which students can learn through self-discovery. The laboratory experiment is a method that requires from students active participation.
It is essential to proper selection and implementation of a chemical experiment. This allows students to observe ongoing changes and draw conclusions based on these observations. Doing so helps students to remember and understand the essence of the ongoing process. Students learn order, responsibility, respect for the principles of health and safety. Also feel the need to plan action for the future and seek answers to their questions.
Our experiments have been placed on our website www.physicsbook.gr, where each student can try and develop the ability to work independently.
