In October 2012, TES volunteers helped by move equipment and design new Science room in primary school in Vrontados.
Laboratory is equipped with the demonstration table, a cupboard for reagents, laboratory tables for students and laboratory equipment and glassware.
With the new workshop children can see for yourself how the electrical circuit works, how to build a simple optical instruments and even how happens some chemical reactions. They have the opportunity to develop their skills and actively participate in the educational process.
Experiments in the science room are the perfect supplement of books. Thanks to teachers, we also can present our knowledge and help children to understand the world through the presentation of experiments.
The new chemical laboratory is a place through which students can acquire practical skills in laboratory equipment and chemical reagents. Also they can learn how to do simple chemical experiments, which will be used by some of them during their studies.
