What is always necessary when something was not used for several months? Exactly, it has to be cleaned!
This rule also applies to our sailing boat “Olympia”, which is still patiently waiting to be back in the sea. That’s why we armed ourselves with soap, a sponge, a bucket and water and started cleaning the outside.
Turns out it is not that easy to keep the balance on a ladder, clean with the sponge and hold a water tube at the same time. So it is no surprise that we looked like after a shower when we finally finished cleaning the boat.
But what matters is that “Olympia” is now clean and ready for the new paint.
And after painting we will start sailing!
