On the 3rd of April many schools sent their 4th – 6th classes or a select few of them to a big sports stadium of one of the primary schools in the city. The children got picked up by a bus at 8:30 in the morning and were transfered to the stadium.
Until 2 in the afternoon the children were taking part in different competitions, such as high jumping, 50 meter dash, 1000 meter races and a 4×50 meter relay race.
The children also prepared a big banner to cheer on their classmates.
One of the 5th grade boys of the 3rd Primary School of Vrontados even took 3rd place his 1000m race.
