At the beginning of September we had the chance to participate in the On-Arrival-Training for EVS volunteers who recently started their project in Greece.

This year we went during the summer activities to Tholopotami, even tough it is quite far away from our hosting places in Katarraktis and Vrontados. To make the transfer the mothers kindly picked us up in Katarraktis or we got droven from the organisations director from Vrontados.
Last Saturday, we had the chance to explore our island a little further. Our first stop was the abandoned village Anavatos.
From the 18th to the 25th of August 2018 the Aegean Regatta took place in the Aegean Sea. There were two categories of participants: ORC International and ORC Club, of which ORC International is the more competitive one.
While the sailing boat is in the water from spring to autumn, whenever we don’t use it it’s parked in the Chios Marina. This is where we also check if everything is alright, before we go for bigger excursions.
