The 11th November is a very important day for whole Chios island. On this they the inhabitants celebrate the liberation of their home from the Turks. On this Friday itself, we had the chance to see a huge parade with schools, associations and military in the capital city Chios. There were also traditional dances, Greek music and even a flight show with a jet.
The day before, on Thursday, our school made a celebration to show all students why it is important to remember this day. In front of all children, the teachers and also parents, the kids of the third class presented poems, monologues and songs.
