It’s the early morning of a February day and the sun shines beautifully in the sky. So why not taking the whole school on an enjoyable trip to Farkaina playground (Παιδική Χαρά Φάρκαινας_Χίος ). We all know education is important, and sports and fun are definitely part of it!
We left Vrontados at 9 in the morning and with two buses full of enthusiastic children we went South. Farkaina playground is located on the outskirts of Chios city and includes several football fields, basketball places, a gym with different fitness tools and a lot of swings and slides to entertain and train people of all ages.
Children played and run over the playground all through the day and it was a great opportunity to spend good time open air. Some kids performed really advanced gymnastic skills both bodyweight and with the playground’s equipment, while some others rested on the benches and ate snacks from their lunch-boxes
The fun in the sun brought them together and the energy of the children was excellently spent!.. so when the bus arrived to take us home everyone was ready to get on it and to go home for lunch.
