On 25th of March the students of the Second Primary School of Vrontados did performances to commemorate this important day for Chios and for Greece. They read poems
and texts honoring the people who fought in the Independence War. They danced and sung in front of their parents, teachers and friends the traditional Greek songs and dances, like the παραδοσιακός.
In particular, the students from the 6th class also prepared a theatre play remembering the moment when the Greeks beat the Turks in the Independence War.
The students have prepared this event during a long time, rehearsing with the teachers and memorizing dance steps, songs and lines for the theatre.
