It is the last week of school, but as usual last but not least. Today, 10th of June, our students did a very special workshop, the port police from Chios came to the school for explaining to them some basic tips about safety and behaviour in the beach and sea.
It is very important that our students know this information, like for example, the importance of using a hat when we are in the sun, sunglasses and solar cream. Our students also learnt what to do if an emergency happens in the beach and always go to the authorities in case they need help.
The port police did an enjoyable and educational presentation for explaining all this things and other ones like for example the importance of keeping the beaches clean. Our students proved that they know most of these rules and even more important: they respect them!
