It’s December and Christmas is coming.
In the 3rd Primary School (AGIOS MARKOS) in Vrontados we are helping many teachers with Christmas preparations, crafting decoration for the christmas tree and helping the children to create customized decoration.
We helped a teacher to craft reindeers by wine corks : we glued piece of wine corks together with hot glue to create the body then the children have decorated all the reindeers with nose, eyes, tail, shiny and bright colors, horns, etc.. In the end we added a screw with an eyelet so as to pass a wire and hang them to the tree.
For another teacher we cut bottles in order to let them paint by the children as idea of recycling and a decoration for the tree.
For another one we drew and painted a big scenery for the christmas recital, it represents the winter with snow in the background and the tree over which one there is the village where the elves live, according to the story the elves should come out the night of Christmas and do crazy things.
