The first month of school is almost over.
The weather was perfect for the activities outside, so the teachers from the Primary school decided to take advantage of this opportunity and go with the children to the playground, near the Daskalopetra beach.
The kids were very happy and excited, they had a lot of energy and ideas how to spend this nice time.
Some of them were playing football, handball or basketball, others enjoyed looking for worms in the ground, swinging or drawing and much more.
It was also a very good time to get to know each other better and to speak about hobbies and interests.
They could show their skills and abilities.
We are sure many of them can be very good sportsmen in the future.
They showed the passion and dedication, what is needed for that.
And most importantly – sport activities make them so happy. They had a lot of fun.
We volunteers liked to take part in every activity.
Thanks to that, the children could get know us better and feel more safe. We got to know some names of the kids and they learned ours.
At the end we all together, walking in pairs, came back to school.
Certainly, this experience was a great lesson of responsibility for us, but also gave us a lot of joy.
