samos.net is a touristic website that has the aim to give the visitor all the important information about the island. It was created based on an old website made by former volunteers.
The old website contained only a few articles, so our team had the task to not only improve the website by samosrefreshing the design. We also updated the content by searching for further information, writing articles. So, visitors who are planning to come to the Greek Island of Samos can inform themselves properly. Our following task was to translate the whole website into the languages that we know.
The website contains lots of important information, that are interesting for tourists: about activities to do, places to stay, local specialties, transportation, etc., available in 5 languages: English, Italian, Greek, Polish and German.
Each place mentioned in the articles has a Google Maps pin, so they are really easy to find.
The website is also full of beautiful and colorful pictures, that are as well placed in the articles as in an interactive gallery.
