The day before one of the biggest Sailing races of Chios in July 2011 we went to the sailing boat of the project, to prepare it for the next day. We put out all the unnecessary stuff and fixed the sails.
On the next day we packed all the things we needed for a long trip, and as the race started we were tagging, pulling ropes and enjoying the sun and the sea.
Also the former volunteers had sometimes the possibility to experience how to take part in a sailing regatta and other races. A great part of the project for sea-loving people!
