On the 10th of November the lesson in the “Junior Captain” – Project presented the subject of Meteorology.
One expert in this area came to teach the children about the different layers of our atmosphere, what they are made of, to which layer an airplane can go, showed them various climate cards and maps to show them the developement of clouds, difference between south and north wind, how a thermometer works and so on.
The children asked many questions. But not only the children, also we were very interested to hear more. The lesson was especially fitting as the winter in Chios started and with it also clouds on the sky again.
