On the 5th of November 2011, the children in the workshop of “Maria Tsakos” Foundation could gain the knowledge about different types of ships and boats. There, they were shown the difference between e.g. a cargo ship and a cruise ship. Moreover, they learned how an engine of a ship works.
The children were very interested in this lecture and contributed to it by asking many questions and by proving their already existing knowledge.
During the break we provided them with food and drinks, and had very nice chats with them.
At the end of that days lesson, the children enjoyed the view from the boat to Chios City’s harbour and its water with the interesting fish in it.
