On the 17th of December 2011, was the last lesson the workshop. To end this successful workshop with a highlight, the children had the opportunity to visit a local sailing school.
There, they were shown by children in the same age, how to sail with an optimist boat. The children were very interested in watching them steering their boats on the wavy water, doing tags and other maneuvers. Some of the children were even actively involved by being passengers on the little boats.
But the real highlight that fascinated all of the children, was the ride on a motorboat. A member of the sailing school was taking the children in small groups on a 2 minute ride along the coast. Even though, some of them were getting a bit wet by the splashes of the waves, the had a lot of fun at this special occasion.
