From 15th to 19th of April our team from Chios Island participated in a Evs mid-term evaluation seminar, held in Mpafi refuge on the mount Parnitha, just one hour away from the center of Athens, by the Hellenic National Agency. The attendees were thirty people currently working on their Evs projects in five different cities in Greece and coming mostly from Germany and Spain, but also Russia, Italy, France, Austria, Poland and Romania.
The aims proposed by the two trainers of the seminar were of course evaluation and reflection, but also future planning and networking. The whole seminar was based on non-formal education: that means not only sitting and listening to a conference but it was required our active involvement.
Even the initial games were fundamental for building the team and through funny portraits and quizzes an atmosphere of trust was created between the participants.
Part of the seminar was dedicated to the presentation of Evs projects that are so unique and to exploring what it means to be part of an Erasmus+ program. There was no shortage of reflection moments, like when we created our book of Evs with our impressions and memories or when we watched a film to discuss about inclusion in the modern society. Or a nice hiking trip through the mountains. We also discussed our plans and our perspectives after Evs and it was not difficult to understand that the experience we are living is inimitable and has a positive influence on the people we are and we want to be in our future.
