Last weeks we have been continuing our fruitful cooperation with 2nd Primary School of Vrontados and eTwinning project, therefore we made another presentation for our children from 3rd and 4th class.
This time we were talking about Land Pollution. As always we tried to teach the children why they should care about environment and our planet. We discussed the sources and effects of Land Pollution. The most relevant for the children were the pictures of polluted and messy beaches, fields, cities etc. They’ve been very active and had so many questions. We have been very surprised that their range of knowledge about this problem is wide already. Usually we show them little steps and actions which they can implement in their houses.
In the end of the presentation the children were drawing pictures connected with the topic.
We are so glad that we can teach them something very important and except that they have also the great opportunity to practise their English with us!
