In February we continue the environmental project in 2nd Primary School of Vrontados. This time we made a presentation about Greenhouse effect and Global Warming. We spoke about the effects and causes of Global Warming. It was very interesting for the children and they had so many questions. The most interesting for them were the changes which we had during last 10 years, due to the Global Warming issue. We could compare how Earth looked like before the Global Warming has started and how does it look like nowadays.
Afterwards we made a memory game with the pictures from the presentation and its names. Children had to find the right picture and connect it with the word. Definitely, they prefer this king of checking their knowledge than tests! 😉
According to bad effects of Global Warming, we drew some of them with the children from the 3rd class.
