Lesvos is the island of the famous ancient poet Sapho, for olive gardens and green forests. It is located close to our island, and is easy to reach by ferry. So in August we decided to visit this island and spent three days there.
As we created a website about Lesvos Island and its specialties and monuments, we already knew which places to definitely not miss on our sightseeing tour.
To take the ferry at 4 am was a challenge for us, but the time we spent there was worth it. Starting from Mytilini, we visited some beautiful places on the island, we found very nice restaurants and tavernas to taste traditional Greek food, and we had a lot of fun together.
In three days we unfortunately weren’t able to see all of the interesting monuments and places. But the island of Lesvos still has a lot of hidden treasures and hopefully we will visit it again in the future.
