As it was the beginning of the workshop, all the children and their parents gathered in the foundation’s building to be welcomed by the organization leader and the initiatives of the project.
Afterwards about 20 of the children participated at the first lesson which was about different types of boats, held on the foundation’s sailing boat named “Mania”.
The children already learned lots of things in the first lesson: e.g. watching a video about how a boat behaves under strong weather conditions or how to do a real sailor knot.
We participated at the workshop by welcoming the children on the boat, taking care of them, and providing them with food and drinks.
During the break we ate with the children and enjoyed getting to know them.
