On the 12th of December 2011, the lesson of “Maria Tsakos” Foundation’s workshop was about meteorology, held by a well-known professor for meteorology.
There, the children could gain some very good knowledge about e.g. clouds develop, about the circulation of water on the Earth, where the different streams of water in the oceans flow and by what they are influenced.
All of the children were very interested in this topic, especially because they were told much information about the water in the area around Chios Island.
