Every year the last weekend of carnival is celebrating in Greece. It is called Main Carnival Weekend. Also in our 3nd school in Vrontados was celebrating Carnival.
On Friday children have dressed up as they want, for example: as a fairy tale, as a policeman and of course as a ‘Star Wars’. It was a day full of joy and excitement.
They were dancing and singing all the time. You can see the smiling children on our pictures. Yes, for sure, they had a lot of fun.
But Carnival means not only the dance but also eating. Children have eaten a traditionally Greek food.
It was a really interesting day, not only for children but also for us, volunteers.
