After having decorated the classroom together with the children in the christmas decoration workshops, we now create the costumes for the christmas play of the primary school.
All the children of the school together will perform one play, so each class has a specific role and needs costumes. Either we make their costumes together with the children, for example with the 5th class, we created a snowflake costume by teaching them how to do a papercut. Also with the 6th class we created the troll costumes in two workshops, first the horns and then the tail.
The third class helped to create part of their costume, which is an angel. A silver wreath with a golden star and we are preparing the wings for them.
For the other classes we create the costumes, as they need various ones. We look for ideas, create samples and then in cooperation with the teachers decide which is the best solution for the costume.
This way we are furthermore creating: soldier helmets, crowns, slides, police hats, stars and robots costumes.
The children, teachers, parents as well as us are very excited for the play for christmas. Everyone is rehearsing, decorating, creating and so on.
