On the 19th of November 2011, the children had the unique opportunity to take part at a cruise with the luxury sailing boat “Mania” belonging to the “Maria Tsakos” Foundation, on which they usually have their workshop lessons.
Starting from Chios Harbour, all of the children were very excited to enjoy this cruise on a very nice and sunny day, and of course to watch the captain and his crew during the cruise. They admired the beautiful landscape of Chios Island and watched the Aegean Sea and its deep blue water.
The cruise’s peak was at the beautiful bay of the village Lagada, which is located in the North of the Island. When sailing back to the harbour in Chios City, the children experienced a special highlight: they saw a group of dolphins swimming near the boat!
