With much passion they explained
every child their role, taught them their dances and practiced the
text parts with them. The outcome was a wonderful performance of the
children supported by a beautiful scenery and unique costumes. The
hurrican of an applause at the end expressed the fascination of the
over a hundred
people who showed up. All the parents, siblings and grandparents left
the club with a smile on their faces.

The theatre play was called a night
full of wonder. It was about a mean witch who didn`t believed
the Christmas wonder. Played by the children the witch got to
experience the Christmas wonder for the first time and ended up
becoming a Christmas witch.

Especially for us
volunteers it was amazing to see the development of each child.
Starting with a huge chaos at the trials we would never had imagen a
connected performance at the end. Looking back it must have been the
continuity of the practice which made every child learn its text and
its specific moves. All in all it was beautiful to see the result and
the reaction of the families to their children. Being a part of the
process and helping the teachers realizing their ideas was a
wonderful experience and showed us once more how great volunteering
is.

To see all pictures, go to our gallery!

As a big highlight of the year the 3rd kindergarten of Vrontados prepared a Christmas theatre for Sunday the 15th of December which they performed in the “ΠΕΚΕΒ” club.
