On this they the inhabitants celebrate the liberation of their home from the Turks. On this Friday itself, we had the chance to see a huge parade with schools, associations and military in the capital city Chios. There were also traditional dances, Greek music and even a flight show with a jet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The day before, on Thursday, our school made a celebration to show all students why it is important to remember this day.
