On the 3rd of March, 2012 the workshop called “Junior Captain” started again for the second time, on board of the foundation’s own sailing yacht.<\/p>\n

This time, another group of new children had the great possibility to participate in this project and to gain precious knowledge all around navigation.<\/p>\n

In the first lesson the children were taught by Evi Psarrou, a professor for sailing history. She came all the way from Athens, to give to the very interested children a lecture about the development of ships and boats during the history.<\/p>\n

The children had the opportunity to take active part at the lecture and to show their knowledge about this subject.<\/p>\n

Lessons are held onboard of the sailing yacht\u00a0which is equipped with a TV and a projector for presentations.<\/p>\n
