Tuesday February 2, 2016 Volunteers went with the 2nd Primary School of Vrontados to an environmental center with playgrounds situated between the hills at the bottom of the mountains that surround Vrontados.
\nWith all the children and all the teachers we spent the morning in the nature playing different games e.g. football and doing environmental activities related to the fauna : children with a teacher went around looking for the nests on the trees and the feathers of the birds.<\/p>\n

They had to recognize from which bird the feathers came from and learn different species of birds that live on Chios island.<\/p>\n

In the end the children did a memory game related to the name of the birds.<\/p>\n

However, finished the tour into the forest, they played with the children and in the end they ate souvlaki all together.<\/p>\n
